Why people choose us

What you can count on

  • The dormer and the room in one plan

Carpenter, plasterer, electrician, heating and finishing in one planning. You do not have to find a second company for the inside.

  • On site or prefab: you choose

Built on site gives more freedom in size and shape and no wait for production. Prefab takes longer to make, then goes on the roof quickly on the day.

  • A clean site every day

The working area is cleaned before we leave each day, and we use tools that keep dust down.

  • One-year warranty

We give a one-year warranty on our work, and we are insured against damage.

Questions

Before you start

How do I get a price for a dormer?

Send the form or call us. A photo of the roof and the attic helps; the price comes after we have measured on site, as a detailed offer.

Do I need a permit for a dormer?

That depends on your house, the side of the roof and the rules of your municipality. Getting a permit and informing the municipality or the owners' association (VvE) is your responsibility; we do not arrange it. We can tell you exactly what the work involves, so you can check the rules for your house.

Built on site or prefab: what is the difference?

Built on site, the dormer is made to measure on your roof, with more freedom in size and shape and no wait for a production line. A prefab dormer is made in a factory and lifted on by crane: production takes longer, the placing itself goes quickly.

Can you also finish the attic inside?

Yes. After the dormer we insulate, board and plaster, do the electrics and electric heating, fit window sills and storage, paint and lay the floor. A bathroom in the attic is possible too.

What can I choose for the dormer itself?

The size and shape, a flat or sloping roof, wood cladding or plastic panels on the cheeks, wooden or plastic frames and their colour, double or triple glazing, and a ventilation grille.

Do I get a warranty?

Yes, a one-year warranty on our work. We are also insured against damage during the work.

Where do you work?

We are based in Zaandam and place dormers in Amsterdam, Haarlem and across North Holland, and further afield in the Netherlands.
